Coosa's Story

Meet Coosa: Your Next Best Friend!
Coosa’s mesmerizing eyes will be the first thing you notice—and they’re just as breathtaking as his loving personality! While Coosa is full of life and affection, he does have a history of conflicts with larger dogs, so he’ll need a home where he’s the only big pup.

About Coosa:?Coosa thrives on human companionship and is a true “people dog.” He adores running alongside an ATV on a long leash and has endless energy, but is happy to relax as well. However, due to his history with larger dogs, Coosa must be the only dog in his new home. He has made a few friends at dog daycare, so we recommend controlled, one-on-one settings with professional dog trainers if you’d like to send him to day care or dog boarding when you go out of town. However, I would also dog sit him if I’m available and you’re within an hour drive!

Coosa’s Strengths:
* Loving and affectionate with people
* Excellent with cats
* Great in a kennel and non-destructive
* Thrives with outdoor activities like running

His Perfect Home:?Coosa needs a home where he can be the only large dog, as past incidents with his current sibling have created stress for his owner. Cat companions would be acceptable and they’d most likely become best friends!

A Bit About His Past:?Coosa was found on the side of the road years ago and immediately became part of the family. While his owner worked hard to address his issues with training, Coosa’s challenges with other large dogs have led to the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can live his best life without conflict.
Coosa’s loving nature will make him an incredible companion. If you’re ready for a dog who will bring joy, energy, and endless love into your life, Coosa is excited to meet you!
