Cooper II's Story

Cooper is a big black & rust male with natural ears and a docked tail. He is about 4 years old and 90+ lbs, but is a gentle giant. Incredibly well behaved,

Cooper's foster family reports a single flaw in his otherwise flawless household manners - he is an enthusiastically messy drinker. Be prepared to mop! He seems to do well with all dogs he has met thus far and has previously lived with cats.

His calm demeanor and lack of any serious prey drive leads us to believe that, with proper introductions, Cooper may do well with a feline companion. He loves people, greeting strangers with smiles, and has proven himself exceptionally well-behaved around older children.

Cooper does have a food allergy, so he will need someone who will be particular about this diet, and would be willing to give coconut or fish oil to help ease his itchy skin. All in all, he will be a fantastic addition to any family. It's not every day you can find a boy this great!
