COOPER!

MEET COOPER!<br/><br/>This handsome little dude is Cooper! He's a 13 year old Yorkie weighing approximately 13 pounds. HE joined City of Elderly Love from Philly's animal control shelter when his former family could no longer care for him. Luckily, he landed a loving foster home where he's been a complete gem and he's now ready to find the perfect forever home!<br/><br/>Despite being a senior, Cooper has plenty of energy and love to give! He is independent, friendly with everyone he meets, has a fun/goofy side, and loves his people. Cooper enjoys daily walks and is great in the car. He'd be a great companion to run errands with or take on a trip to the coffee shop. He also loves snuggles on the couch, loves to be brushed, is good with grooming and even doesn't mind being picked up! This silly boy will have you laughing with his little dances and twirls at every mealtime! This little dude is very food motivated so it's easy to teach him new tricks. Cooper is currently in foster care with dogs and cats and doesn't mind sharing his space with them, he can be a bit bossy around them and isn't overly interested in being their friend. We think he'd be happiest in home where he can be your center of attention. While not a barker at all, he will bark at his dog/cat foster siblings when he's being bossy. Because of his age and small stature, we think he'd be best in a home without young kids. <br/><br/>Cooper is housetrained and crate trained. He's vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He's also heartworm negative and recently had a full dental with extractions to get rid of any no good old manteeth. Cooper has a low grade heart murmur that doesn't require any additional care at this time.
