HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: All dogs located at Trails Home Farm are in Delaplane, VA and require an appointment for approved applicants to have a meet and greet.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Cooper is a super sweet boy. In spite of coming from a cruel beginning living outside 24/7, then abandoned at a high-kill shelter, he knows humans are here to help! He is adjusting to indoor life well and learning the ropes quickly.

Cooper plays well and loves to run with other dogs. His favorite activity is to spend time with humans and he's looking for the one that will love and care for him. He is a wonderful companion!

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Cooper loves to play with other dogs and lived with several doggie foster siblings.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We are not sure about cats, but we would be happy to find out!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Cooper is a very sweet boy and loves people. We haven't introduced him to little humans specifically, but we feel with a proper introduction, he will understand their size and do well.

KNOWN COMMANDS: Cooper knows to sit patiently and wait for treats. He also knows down, and working on others.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Cooper appears to be house trained. Since arriving at Trails Home Farm, he settles nicely in his kennel at night.

KNOWN LIKES: Playing with other dogs, running out in the yard, pets, and playing with toys!

KNOWN DISLIKES: None
