I'm a sweet, goofy, and wildly loyal Australian Cattle Dog, and I'm looking for my forever adventure buddy! I had a few bad encounters with aggressive dogs and decided that rather than be bullied, I will act first and show that I am not to be messed with...but deep down, it doesn't make me feel good. I want more than human companionship, but I need help to get there. If you believe in me, have the time and patience, I promise to work hard. Like my brothers and sisters, I have prey drive and herding tendencies.<br/><br/>I was rescued from No Kill LA when I was just 4 months old, and ever since, I've been showing everyone just how much love I have to give. I'm what you might call a professional Velcro dog. If you're moving from room to room, you can bet I'll be right behind you! I love being close to my humans, gazing at you with my warm eyes, and reminding you just how special you are to me. <br/><br/>I'm a pretty smart cookie, too! I'm affectionate, playful, and always ready for a little fun. Give me a tennis ball, some grass, or a chance to stretch my legs, and I'll be sprinting, leaping, and fetching with the biggest smile on my face! I'm an active guy who loves daily walks, hikes, exploring the yard, and pretty much any outdoor adventure you can dream up. And one of my favorite staff introduced me to agility courses, wow, follow a treat through all these obstacles and I get rewarded. Game on! We now go every Friday, and boy do I love it. <br/><br/>I've lived with a larger dog before, but I can get a little protective of my people and struggle with sharing their attention. Because of that, I'd really thrive as your one and only pup, where I can soak up all the love and attention. I also tend to feel more comfortable around female dogs, and my interactions with them have been much less reactive.<br/><br/>The good news is that I'm a happy, healthy boy with a completely clean bill of health. No medical issues, no past conditions, and no treatments needed. Just a healthy, energetic pup who's ready to enjoy everything life has to offer!<br/><br/>At the end of the day, though, I'm just a big softie who wants to be close to my favorite person. Whether we're out hiking, playing fetch, going for a walk, or simply cuddling on the couch, I'll be happiest wherever you are.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your days with laughter, adventure, endless affection, and plenty of cuddles, I might just be your perfect match!<br/><br/>All I need is a person to call my own.
