Hi! I’m Cooper! I’m a 4-year-old, 16-pound male purebred Beagle, and I’m every bit the hound you’d expect me to be. My nose is almost always to the ground, and if there’s a scent to follow, I’m on it! Exploring the world one smell at a time is my specialty. I was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and I’m so grateful for a second chance. I’m wonderful with other dogs and friendly with people, making me an easy fit in many types of homes. Cats? I can be cat-tested upon request. Because my nose can lead me on adventures, a securely fenced yard is recommended to help keep me safe. I am fully vetted, including being neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Angie's Dog House's Adoption Policy

You fill out the application, it gets processed. If approved we then do a phone interview. If not local we ask for videos of their home, if local we do a home check. Then we schedule the meet and greet with their pets and our adoptable pet. If that goes well then they sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and bring the pet home.
