Cooper's Story
A pup so sweet, he even wears a heart on his side...check out his heart-shaped spot in the first pic! COOPER will be rolling north next week and he is ready for home on 3/1 from Amesbury MA. Cooper is a 10 month old and 50 pound Spaniel mix and he says he is the "GOODEST OF GOOD BOYS". He is lucky to have landed in rescue and he is fostered in the south with resident dogs. He is not cat or kid tested. He knows the basics like "sit" and "stand pretty" which is pretty impressive for a big puppy. He loves his toys and "helping" his foster mom wherever she goes.

RESCUE STORY"The rescue story is similar to so many in Bledsoe County in TN. I think the owner had the parents to these dogs didn't get them fixed and she went from three dogs to seven dogs. She didn't live on the property where she kept the dogs. Where she currently lives she wasn't allowed to have dogs so she stashed the dogs somewhere else. It was 15 mile drive for her to go feed them and water them daily is what she told me. A sad existence for these dogs."

Preference is given to adopters willing to pre-adopt (commit to) a puppy or dog before arrival. Pups not adopted are available to meet in their MA foster homes after your application is approved. Should this pup receive an adoption commitment prior to your application being processed, we will share with you the other arriving pups that may be a match for you, some of which are not yet posted online. THIS PUP IS STILL AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS LISTINGwe pull listings down after receiving 2 - 3 viable applications to minimize adopter disappointment. Please do not email, simply submit an application link here www.rescueinc.dog/adopt and we do respond to every application within 48 hours.

Read through our adoption process and other adoption FAQs here www.rescueinc.dog/FAQs

All of our pups come with the following:

Spayed or Neutered
Age appropriate vaccinations + dewormed + 4DX test (if older than 6 months)
Dosed with flea/tick + heartworm preventatives
New martingale collar with 6' lead + temp ID tag
30 days free insurance to be activated within 24 hours of your wellness visit with your veterinarian
Microchip with free registration for your new pup, but also for any other pets in your household too!
Our southern dogs, 6 months and older, come with a **Proheart 6 injection which provides 6 months of Heartworm protection (approx value of $100)

**dogs surrendered to us in MA do not recieve the Proheart 6 injection but do go home dosed with flea / tick / heartworm preventative so there is no lapse in protection

Ages listed can be approximate and breed mixes are a best guess based on physical characteristics.
