Cooper's Story
UPDATE 03/04/2026:
Cooper is a year old, housetrained shepherd mix in the 60 to 70 lb range who walks like a gentleman on leash. Through our partnership with a nearby prison, this dapper young fellow recently completed basic obedience school and is getting better and better at coming when called. Cooper is a “life, be in it!” kind of dog. He’s always ready to bring the party and go wherever the day takes you. He will do best in a home that can provide him with an active life style. His mind and body love a challenge. He loves walks in the outdoors and would have the time of his life as your hiking and adventure buddy. Cooper wants a job to do, such as learning even more skills in dog school. After some serious exercise or a playful workout, he’s all ready for a chew toy or an affectionate, chill cuddle on the couch. If you’re looking for a fun loving, up for anything companion, please consider making an appointment to meet Cooper.

Cooper, a young , male Retriever mix was brought to the rescue as a stray. Cooper waited & waited for his family to come get him, but they never did. Now he is looking for a new forever home that will never abandon him! Cooper is very friendly and has lots of energy. He enjoys romping in the big play yard and is working on leash manners. It appears Cooper has had little to no training but luckely he got picked to enter a training program soon where he will learn all sorts of good manners!! Cooperis house trained and is now neutered and current on vaccines. Look for updates on Coopers training or if you would like to meet Cooper before he heads off to boot camp please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel license # 8704 )
