COOPER's Story
What could be better than a loyal Hound/ mix boy? Well, when it comes to COOPER, not much. This boy has it all. Looks? COOPER has the sweetest face and BEST ears!! Charm? Oh yeah. COOPER is a sweet boy who is ready to share his love. Personality? A great one!!

COOPER is an owner - release to our shelter, and at 5-6 years in age has shown us that he gets along great with both humans and dogs in typical hound fashion. This social boy seems to make friends easily, and has a passion for playing with toys! Coming in to our shelter from his previous home a bit overweight, COOPER could stand to lose a few pounds. Daily healthy walks with is new family will soon correct that! This gorgeous caramel-colored boy doesn't know how to NOT wag his tail when people are around. He already knows how to act like a well-mannered adult, and walks well on a leash. He knows about socialization, and does great with the humans all around. Other than the fact that he is uncomfortable around small children and cats, COOPER would easily join just about any home. This looker, and lovliest of boys, is ready for you to come see how great he is and then you're understand why we love him so much!

Please contact the BROOKE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER by calling: 304-394-0800 for more information about COOPER. We Thank You for your interest in the animals at our shelter, and hope you will visit with us very soon!

* Though the information on our animals available for adoption is updated frequently, please understand that there is a chance that when you arrive at our shelter the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted or another party might be going through the adoption process at that time.

Our shelter is happy to work with responsible rescues!

We are conveniently located just 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We will gladly provide you with easy directions to our facility upon request.
