I'm only 2 years old and looking for a new home.<br/><br/>I'm a smaller girl at around 40 lbs.<br/><br/>Ya see my daddy loves me very much but he just cannot take care of me the way a sweet little girl like me deserves, he's a bit older ya know.<br/><br/>He has been caring for me all my life, when another family member left me with him as a pup. He wasn't ready to be a doggie daddy.<br/><br/>I need space to run and burn off all my puppy energy, chase tennis balls and hunt critters in the yard.<br/><br/>I have not had much interaction with dogs outside my home. I did just fine with my canine mom, dad and siblings.<br/><br/>I may be ok with a submissive male, we would have to meet first. I can also live by myself.<br/><br/>I do need to work on my leash manors, I get so excited for walks, I try to pull daddy down. Save the Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step in our adoption process is for the prospective adopter to complete our Adoption Application Questionnaire which helps us best match you with the the dog that would be most suited to your home environment and expectations. Email us at info@savethedals.org with the name of the dog that interests you and we will send you our Adoption Application Questionnaire. If based on the Application Questionnaire we think one of our dogs is a good match to your home environment and expectations, we will follow up with a phone call, advise you of the adoption fee, schedule a home visit if applicable, and arrange a meet and greet with the dog. Adopters are also required to sign our Adoption Contract; you will be provided a copy of the contract for you to review and ask questions before you adopt the dog. Note that we often have multiple applicants wanting to adopt the same dog. Our selection process is not based on whose application we receive first. It is based on who we believe will be the best match for the dog, allowing for the greatest success of a high quality, loving forever home, with the least likelihood of the dog needing to be returned to rescue. We commit to the life of each dog we rescue, such that at any point in the life of the dog if its adopter is no longer able to keep the dog, the adopter signs our adoption contract agreeing that they will return the dog to Save The Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue. The dog is not to be turned into an animal shelter.
