Cookie's Story

Hello future family! My name is Cookie and I am as cute & sweet as my name suggests. I am an all around super puppy- I love everything and everyone!
I absolutely love this wet white stuff my foster mom says is snow. It’s fun to run and roll in. I enjoy running around, chasing, & wrestling with my foster brother. I do listen & respond when I hear my name called. Just say, “Cookie where are you,” and I’ll come running. I am a little bashful when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take me too long to warm up to new people after I meet them. I also have a 3.5 year old foster sister who has been helping me learn the ways of how to properly behave as a house dog. I like chew toys and would love for my new family to get me plenty of them and bones too for me to chomp on.
I have successfully mastered potty training. I wait by the door at my foster home to go outside. I am a superstar at being crate trained. I am comfortable sleeping the entire night in my crate. I also don’t mind taking naps in my crate either. A comfy blanket is all I need to calm me to sleep. I would welcome cuddling up next to you or being on your lap for naps too. With my foster family having a fenced in backyard I haven’t had a lot of leash training yet. I would enjoy learning that skill with my new family. I am trying hard learning to sit, stay, and down. I’m treat motivated so having tasty training treats around would be amazing!
If you’re looking for a cute & cuddly new family member then I am your gal. I am anxiously waiting for you to pick me as your new family member.
Until we meet & fall in love, Cookie
If you would like to meet Cookie, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.
