Cookie's Story

Cookie came to us from an animal shelter after she was confiscated from a property along with many other dogs. She's only a few years old and she is actually quite pretty but she needs a lot of help behaviorally. Cookie is great with all other dogs because she came from a place with so many other dogs around but she didn't get the same socialization with people. She is quite scared of people and she will need a lot of patience and understanding. Cookie also shuts down on leash so she will need work with that as well. We know that Cookie has a long way to go but we really hope that there is someone out there with the patience needed to help this sweet girl trust so she can have a happy, stress free life.

Dobie and Little Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please fill out an adoption application and email it to us at dobierescue@earthlink.net You can then make an appointment to meet the dogs that match what you're looking for if we have any appropriate candidates. Male Dobermans are a $300 donation and currently females are $350. Unfortunately we are having a really hard time getting spay appointments and we have to pay more for their surgeries so we have to ask a higher donation to make ends meet. All dogs go home spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and with a collar/ID tag.
