🐾 Meet Cookie! 🍪<br/><br/>Cookie is a sweet 3-year-old with a gentle heart. She was initially a little shy, but she has warmed up beautifully with staff and volunteers, showing her playful and affectionate side. Cookie is highly motivated by treats, so training and rewarding her is a breeze!<br/><br/>She seems to be selective with other dogs, so a home where she can be the center of attention or with a carefully matched canine companion would be ideal. Cookie is ready to find a loving family who will give her patience, understanding, and plenty of tasty treats along the way.<br/><br/>My Boroughbreaker writes: Cookie was so great on her first borough break! She was nervous at first, didn't want to get in the car, and her first walk she seemed a little anxious. But she got a Zoomie in the backyard and then when we came in, she settled down very quickly and wanted to be by our sides and pet at all times. If we stopped petting her for a minute, she would request more. It was super cute! She definitely needs some leash training- she can pull hard and does not seem to know any commands. She really wanted to chase after a squirrel. But I think she wants to be friends with it. :) She was also great with my 12 yo son and was cuddly with him as well.
