Cookie just came down from up north where he was loved and cared for by his previous owner. That loving has made Cookie a wonderful boy! This little guy (about 6 pounds) waltzed into a foster household with 5 big dogs and was respectful and comfortable with them right away. He's half the size of the resident cats and doesn't pay them any heed except to be pushed off his food by them. And he lets them do it! <br/><br/>If you are a Chihuahua fan, this little prancey guy has all the positive characteristics and didn't bother with the undesirable bits. He follows his foster person around so that he can a) snuggle on her lap if she's sitting or b) burrow under the covers if she is sleeping. If she's not available, he will find another lap in the house to sit on. <br/><br/>Snuggly and well adjusted, Cookie wants a home where he can be with his person. That's his priority. He must be able to burrow under the blankets at night because he's been doing it for three years and it's his happy place. He does whine if his person is leaving and he's showing that he can alert you to strangers when they arrive at your door. He is not at all snappy.... just happy! He would love a woman because, again, that is what he came from and that is what he associates with all the good lovin' he had. He doesn't dislike men, he just gravitates to women. <br/><br/>Cookie is neutered, vaccinated (core vaccines), dewormed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450. She is currently located in Caledon, ON.<br/><br/>**Puppy training is mandatory for puppy adopters and HIGHLY recommended for anyone adopting an adult.
