Cookie & his 3 siblings were found dumped on a country back road in Lee County VA. Their shelter is very full and euthanizing for space so the finder held onto them for the almost 3 weeks it took for a rescue (us) to step up and save them! And we are so so happy we said yes to these hound babies - even though we are a pit bull rescue! Because they are by far some of the best babies we have in rescue!!!<br/>Cookie is the best boy!! First off he does sooo good in his crate he goes in & stays in quietly. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. One is a year & one is an older dog and he does well with both. He also does not bother the chickens that are in a run. He is a huge snuggler if your just sitting around but he also loves to play! He is not super vocal (unless you leave him alone on the bed and he is scared to jump down! haha) He is still learning how to behave on leash but is getting better. He has had minimal accidents and is starting to alert when he needs to go outside! Cookie is a real GEM!!!<br/>His adoption fee is $375 and includes age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and neuter.
