CONNIE's Story
Some of you may remember Connie, who was adopted from us back in September after arriving at ICAS as a stray alongside her brother, Jeremy. ??

Connie has unexpectedly found herself back at the shelter—through no fault of her own. Her adoptive home had an older resident dog who, despite everyone’s best efforts, did not accept Connie. Over time, it became unsafe for her to remain in the home, so her family made the difficult decision to return her to us.

But don’t think for a second that this sweet, spirited girl is letting her past discourage her. Connie’s confidence, affection, and joy shine just as bright as ever. ?

About Connie:
?? 1 year, 10 months old
?? Spayed female — 53.50 lbs
?? ID: A307825
?? She is truly a happy, social, loving girl who is so ready for her real forever home. ??

We encourage meet & greets with any resident dogs or children to ensure the best fit for everyone.

And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet:
?? 3 days to decompress
?? 3 weeks to learn the routine
?? 3 months to fully adjust, bond, and feel at home

Please come meet Connie in person—you just might be the family she’s been waiting for. ??

#adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
