Commander 's Story

Meet Commander 🐾
2 years old • Shepherd mix • One ice-blue eye • Special in all the best ways

Commander’s story began when he and his very pregnant canine companion were found living in an abandoned trailer. He spent a month in foster care, where he showed everyone exactly what an incredible dog he is—and now he’s with us and ready to find his forever home.

Commander is amazing with other dogs and does wonderfully with kids. He’s fully crate trained, never has accidents in the house, and is an all-around easy companion. His foster home had cats, and Commander completely ignored them—no chasing, no fuss.

This sweet boy is a true velcro dog. Once he finds his person, he wants to be right by their side through it all. He’s loyal, affectionate, and deeply connected to his humans.

Commander was born with just three and a half legs, likely due to an injury at birth—but don’t let that fool you. It doesn’t slow him down one bit! He moves confidently, plays happily, and lives life to the fullest without missing a beat.

Commander is ready for a home where he can give all his love (and then some). If you’re looking for a devoted, gentle, resilient best friend—Commander is waiting for you. 💙🐶

📞 Interested in Commander? Stop by or give us a call at 508-476-1855
