Hi there, I’m Comfy! I’m a 1-year-old, 62 lb Staffy mix with a big heart, an even bigger smile, and a love for life that just won’t quit! I’m currently the longest stay at Ruff Road Revival and have been looking for my furrever home for almost 6 months! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy bestie — I might just be your girl. I’m sweet as sugar and always excited to make new friends (both human and canine!). I especially love hanging out with other playful pups who enjoy a good, rowdy wrestling match. Long walks? Zoomies in the yard? Snuggles on the couch? Playing with squeaky toys? The answer is always YES, PLEASE! Oh, and don’t be surprised if I wrap my paws around you for one of my signature hugs — I’m an affectionate gal through and through, and I adore people of all ages (kids included!). The basics? • Potty & crate trained like a champ • Leash pro who’s great on walks • Rockstar at adoption events (I love meeting new people!) • Great with medium and large dogs who can match my playful energy • Best in a home without small dogs or cats — I sometimes forget my size when I get excited! We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.

Ruff Road Revival's Adoption Policy

The first step to the adoption process is filling out our adoption application online. We then do a vet check and check character reference, followed up by reaching out to the potential adopter to answer any questions they may have. If they are still interested at that point, we have the foster reach out to them so that they can get a better feel for if it is the right fit both for the adopter and for the animal. This also gives the potential adopter a chance to either set up a meet and greet with the animal if they are local or video chat with the animal to see their personality if they are out of state. If they are local, the next step would be a meet and greet and if that goes well, they would sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee and take the animal home. If they are out of state and decide to move forward with adoption, they will then sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We will schedule the transport and send all information to the potential adopter. The animal will receive a health certificate prior to transport and the adopter will be added to a group chat during the transport process.
