Comet's Story

Comet is 2 years old & around 60lbs. She is incredibly smart & picks up on training easily. We aren't sure of her mix other than the GSD as her mother came in to care also. She needs an active household. She is working on jumping up when she is excited and at this time would do best in a home without small kids. Comet has been fostered with other dogs of various sizes. She has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, & microchipped. Sweet Home Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential Adopters must fill out an adoption application. Once this application is reviewed we will contact you to ask any additional questions and set up a meet and greet. All adoptable dogs/cats have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, have had a vet check, heartworm tested (when age-appropriate), and are microchipped. Our adoption fee covers the above items plus monthly preventatives (while in our care). We are open to transporting to select locations, however, a transfer fee will be applied.
