Comet & Chocolate's Story

Chocolate and Comet are a bonded pair of 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel mixes with the sweetest souls and the softest, snuggliest personalities. We rescued these handsome black-and-gold boys from the Palmdale shelter, and they’ve quickly proven to be absolute dream houseguests.
Each weighing about 23 pounds, these low-rider pups have long bodies, short legs, beautiful flowing coats, and the most expressive faces—complete with adorable golden eyebrows that make every look melt your heart.
Chocolate is the slightly more confident of the two, happily greeting new people and exploring the world with a curious spirit. Comet is a bit more sensitive, especially about being picked up, but he feels secure when his brother is nearby and will happily trot along by your side if you gently guide him with a leash.
Both boys are incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate. They love squeaky toys, cozy couch snuggles, and rolling over for belly rubs. They’re also food-motivated, which makes them eager to please and easy to work with. Chocolate and Comet are potty trained, both walk nicely on leash next to one another, and happily share a crate at night.
They’re friendly and relaxed when meeting other dogs on walks and will gladly accept pets from new people. They do well with other dogs, and would be fine with older kids, and likely cats too.
It’s clear these two have a special bond, and we would love to see them continue life’s adventures together. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving, ready-made duo to fill your home with warmth and companionship, Chocolate and Comet might just be your perfect pair.
