Fearless, confident, intelligent, and incredibly affectionate, Colton is the kind of dog who brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. He loves being with his people and has a bold, adventurous spirit that keeps life fun.<br/><br/>Colton enjoys everything an active little terrier should, like going for car rides, playing fetch, carrying around his favorite squeaky toys, soaking up the sunshine, and running fast zoomies in the yard. When the day is done, he loves to curl up on the couch for snuggles, and at night, his absolute favorite place to sleep is right in bed with his humans.<br/><br/>He also loves playing with other dogs his size and would thrive in an active home with a canine companion who can match his playful, medium energy. He does fine with other pups, though he prefers to be the center of attention and can occasionally get a little possessive of his space with other dogs, but he corrects easily and is a total sweetheart.<br/><br/>From his Foster Mom:<br/>Colton has one of the biggest personalities I have ever seen in such a little dog. He is brave, curious, incredibly loving, and always wants to be part of the action. He makes me smile every single day.<br/><br/>One of Colton's best qualities is how smart he is. He already knows how to sit, is a quick learner, and is very food motivated, making future training both fun and rewarding. He is still working on mastering his house training, but he now goes outside most of the time. He is not currently crate trained and prefers to be a true companion dog, staying close to the action. On walks, he might let out a few barks when meeting new people or dogs because he gets excited, but he warms up very quickly!<br/><br/>Because Colton is a young dog, he needs daily mental and physical stimulation to release his energy. An ideal home for him would be an active household with a securely fenced yard where he can run to his heart's content. Because he loves attention so much, he would likely do wonderful with a family that has respectful children to play with.<br/><br/>Colton is neutered, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family.
