Colette's Story

Meet Colette!

If we had to describe this darling Frenchie in three words: loving, grounded, joyful. And she truly lives up to every one of them.

Colette is incredibly affectionate and friendly with everyone she meets — no warm-up period required! She greets the world with a happy heart and a wagging spirit. Her energy level is medium, making her the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. She’s just as content heading out for a nice walk as she is lounging near her people.

She is wonderful with other dogs and loves playing with her doggie foster siblings. On walks, she has no reaction when passing other dogs and may even try to make a new friend if encouraged. She’s easy to handle on leash and very athletic, happily enjoying solo strolls or pack adventures.

Colette is very affectionate but not at all clingy. She simply loves being around the humans and animals in her home — a true social lady! Her favorite toys are nylabones and other hard chews, and she enjoys staying engaged and active.

Colette is currently healing from a sialoadenectomy (the mass on her neck is already much smaller after her surgery), and we’re happy to share that nothing further is needed — she’s recovering beautifully and is ready to find her forever home.

If you’re looking for a steady, joyful companion who will bring warmth, friendliness, and just the right amount of playful energy into your life, Colette may be your perfect match.
