Cole Puppy's Story
Cole Puppy was recently taken into our rescue, along with his little sister Phoebe Puppy. They are from a litter of six who were rescued from the recent flooding in KY and taken to a shelter where they awaited help. We didn't have room for the entire litter since foster homes are just not available but we had room for two. They are both very good natured and oh so ADORABLE. They are about three months old and Cole weighs in at around 20 lbs.<br/>Cole Puppy is currently in a foster home and he is doing very well according to his foster mom. This is the information that she has shared with us so far: "Things are going well with Cole. He seems to be taking to potty training pretty well too! (Although he can be stubborn with this at times.) But, he'll get there. He is very treat motivated and already has the command “sit” down! He LOVES children and is excellent with them. He is very good with our two dogs and plays nicely with one of them in particular. We also had him upstairs with our cats and both were unbothered by each other. Cole does not show any signs of having a high prey drive but he does love to sniff everything when he is outside. If you are looking for a "lap dog", then Cole would be the one for you. He loves being close to his person and is super snuggly."<br/>Cole is up-to-date with his distemper and Rabies vaccinations. He is too young to be neutered so that will be his adopter's responsibility once he matures and their vet feels that it's the right time. Neutering is MANDATORY and proof must be provided once the procedure is done. Cole Puppy's suggested adoption donation is $300 with a $50 refund at the time of his neuter. Thank you for your consideration of an adorable, rescued puppy!!<br/>Cole Puppy has found his "forever" home. He will now be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of his life in Throop, PA!!
