Cole's Story

Cole is currently being fostered while we look for an adopter for him- while his family can't keep him forever, they have nothing but awesome things to say about him! We are lucky enough to have insight on what he'd be like in your home!

He is highly intelligent, very loving, and loves a routine (knows exactly when its time to eat and go for walks). He loves to be outside, and play in water in the summer time. He has a lot of energy for a senior dog. He's very friendly with people and loves getting pets and scratches and cuddles all the time.

Toys: Cole does not have a favorite toy. He will destroy any type of plushy/squeaky toy immediately. He prefers tug of war with thick rubber toys or frisbees. We also play with a football that he really likes.

Routine: Cole is pretty set in his ways and really enjoys having a routine. He knows he eats once at 8am and once at 3mp (1cup each) He will definitely remind you when its time to eat!

Does Cole sound like he could be a great fit for your home? Adopt this sweet boy and give him the opportunity to live out his golden years in a furrrrever home.

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

Bideawee's Adoption Policy
Please visit our shelters to adopt one of the animals you see below. It will say on the website whether that animal is located in Manhattan, Westhampton or Wantagh. Please note that since adoptions will be first come, first serve, we will be unable to guarantee the inventory of animals at the time of your arrival. If the animal you were interested in has already been adopted, we will do our best to help you find another great match for you and your family. If an animal you are interested in is currently in a foster home (it will say this on the website), you will need to submit an application so that we can schedule a Zoom interview with the foster parent. We will be unable to schedule those interviews on the spot, so please submit an application and wait for us to get back to you to schedule an appointment. Please visit https://www.bideawee.org/programs/adoption/adoption-process/ to read our adoption requirements. We look forward to introducing you to your new best friend!
