Cole's Story

Introducing Cole, the small Chihuahua with a big attitude.

This little guy can be spicy. He is curious about the world around him once he feels safe. Cole is crate trained and his crate is his safe space. Cole is potty trained, though he has marked when he first arrived at his fosters. Cole gets confidence from other dogs and finds comfort being part of a pack. He is amazing with his foster sisters and wants to groom one of them. He is a dogs dog.

Cole came to us with a very little human interaction. He will initiate contact, but strictly on his terms. He is not the small dog you pick up and cuddle at this stage. Cole absolutely adores playing with small toys. He loves being out in the yard and will absolutely need a secure fenced yard. Cole recently worked with a trainer on leash training and safe handling. This is a work in progress.

We believe Cole would thrive in a forever home with one or two friendly, confident little dogs to help show him the ropes. Dogs around 25 pounds and under would likely be the best fit.

Cole will require patience, training and consistency to be the best boy he can be. The chihuahua spicy sass is real!
