Sometimes we scratch our heads and ask "why?!" It is not the fault of the dogs who end up in the county shelter. The fault is with the people who do not uphold their commitment to the well-being of the pets they choose to bring into their homes. Colby is an example of a sweet, smart and handsome boy who should be in a home, not waiting for one at a rescue!<br/><br/>What we have learned about Colby is he aims to please! Colby is quick learner and proud to show-off his "sit" especially if there is a treat involved! Colby gets very excited when he see a harness and leash ... walk time!! And, his eyes light up when his favorite volunteers walk in the room. "He is the best dog ever" is a common phrase used to describe Colby.<br/><br/>At our youth summer camp, Camp O.P.P., Colby was a favorite. He excelled at playing mental games with the campers and cherished his camper walks.<br/><br/>Colby keeps an upbeat outlook on life. He must be holding out for the extra special perfect home!
