Cognac's Story

On June 8th, 2025 an injured chocolate lab puppy (male, est DOB 1-15-25). He had a collar that was so tight that it had dug into his skin. Good Samaritan found him on Salem Road, Gadsden Co near Chuck Wagon BBQ. The Good Samaritan had removed the collar already. A deep wound was found on the neck so they brought him to Northwood for treatment, relinquishing him. He was found to have a cough as well, unknown if related to his neck injuries or something infectious going on like kennel cough. The puppy was treated for the wounds and cough, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Now he just needs a new home.
