Coffee

Coffee came to us as a stray with several severe injuries which we treated while trying to find his family and after research from a microchip his owner chose to not reclaim him. Coffee is just over 3 years old and has never really had a steady family to love on him. He is such a sweet and protective dog. He loves women over men but will eventually warm up to anyone given an opportunity too. He is treat motivated and walks super good on a leash so is very easily walked by our volunteers. Coffee does suffer from some permanent damage from his previous injuries that consisted of some bite wounds to his mouth and trauma to his facial nerve which has caused some sinking of the muscle mass on the left side of his skull. He eats and chews on things just fine though. We were also told that he had an accident about a year ago that injured his back right leg and it has since healed but he often favors it when he gets running. Even with the imperfections Coffee has, he is the perfect house dog keeping his kennel clean, he loves his stuffies and doesn’t destroy them, and never has accidents. Coffee would enjoy car rides to get a pup cup too! He will need a meet and greet with any dog in the home and would be best with non-dominant dogs. We are also suggesting no cat household.
