Cody's Story

ID 59812637

Meet Cody!

Cody is a playful young lad of about 1 yr of age that is eager to please and looking for his forever home for guidance through his adolescent years. He does not show well in his kennel as his true goal is to be out of there, and embracing the world around him. He has a higher energy style but is fun, eager to engage, and ready to tackle training with his new best friend. He appears to know some very basic commands but when very excited, it takes him a minute to remember.
He will settle in, and enjoys a good treat for a reward of a job well done.

Cody needs some consistent work on his leash manners as he is a “boy on the go” with lots to see and encounter. We are confident with good handling, he and his human pal will make a great team and he will continue to learn the ropes. Being stuck at a shelter for many of these dogs makes it hard when all they want to do is have some good ole fashioned doggie fun. Cody loves a good game of tug, and you can incorporate this with training to make it fun and rewarding.

He is friendly, happy and ready to find his home. He passed his initial dog/dog assessment but will need another dog to understand his play style which is why we require a meet/greet with any resident dog in a home.

Come on down and do meet Cody. He is a handsome fella that just needs to find his match and he will be the best happiest dog on the block.
