Cody's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Cody! Cody is a 2 year old male goldendoodle and he weighs about 45 pounds. Cody arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. His foster mom says: Meet Cody, a sweetheart with a classic, goofy doodle walk who is ready to find his forever family! This well-behaved boy is the ultimate family dog; he’s house-trained on a schedule, never begs for food, and only ever chews on his own toys (or the occasional cat toy). A true social butterfly, Cody gets along great with kids and other dogs, and he even has a playful side with cats, often trying to get them to join him in a game of chase. He rides beautifully in the car and walks well on a leash, though he loves to zig-zag from side to side to take in all the smells! Because he loves his outdoor time and playing "un-fetch"—where he chases the ball but doesn't quite bring it back—he’ll thrive in a home with a fenced yard. Cody is a true companion who doesn't do well when left alone, so he’s looking for a family where someone is home most of the time. Above all, Cody is a cuddle-bug who loves attention and wants nothing more than to end his day sleeping right next to his human.

Cody is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned.

Cody is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Buster, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
