Cody's Story
Meet Cody!

Cody is a big, gentle teddy bear with an independent spirit and a soft, affectionate heart. He loves stuffies, outdoor playtime, and relaxing close by once he feels safe. Inside, he’s calm and low-key; outside, he lights up—especially if he has a dog friend to romp around with. While Cody can be nervous around loud noises and small children, he truly shines in a quieter, dog-savvy home where he can move at his own pace and learn what it really means to be loved.

He would thrive in a home with a backyard, minimal stairs, and ideally another playful dog companion. He’s fully house trained, crate trained, great in the car, and knows his basic commands. He’s still working on leash manners and confidence, but with patience and consistency, this big guy is eager to learn and please.

Cody hasn’t always had it easy, and you can see he’s still holding back—trying so hard to be a “good boy” instead of letting himself be fully happy. What he needs now is someone willing to give him time, understanding, and unconditional love. Please consider opening your heart and home to Cody and showing him the joy he’s been waiting for. He deserves hope, stability, and a forever family of his own.

Currently fostered in Ayr, ON
