Petfinder Profiles doesn't always work.

Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC

Meet Cody!

This handsome 312-year-old Red Heeler is looking for an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit! If you love spending time outdoors, playing fetch, and having a loyal companion by your side, Cody may be your perfect match.

Cody is happiest when he's outside exploring, running, and playing. His absolute favorite activity is fetchhe could chase a ball for hours and will happily bring it back for another throw.

He is crate trained and has been a sweet, affectionate foster dog. He loves attention from his people and enjoys being included in family activities.

Like many Heelers, Cody can be mouthy when excited and is still learning appropriate manners. He appears to have had little to no formal obedience training before coming into foster care, so his new family should be prepared to continue working on basic commands and structure. The good news is that he's smart, eager to engage, and already making progress.

Cody would do best with an active adopter who understands the needs of herding breeds and is committed to providing regular exercise, training, and mental enrichment. In return, you'll get a loyal, loving companion who is ready to be your adventure buddy.

- 312 years old
- Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)
- Crate Trained
- Loves Fetch
- Active and Outdoorsy
- Sweet and Affectionate
- Currently Learning Basic Obedience and Manners

If you're looking for a fun-loving dog with lots of potential and an even bigger heart, Cody would love to meet you!

Please contact Jbowe5115@gmail.com.

Complete an Application:
https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
