Cocoa's Story

Hello, my name is Cocoa. You might think my name comes from my unique color. I have soulful golden eyes and different shades of brown fur. I have cute tiny amber colored spots on my legs. I also have a copper colored nose. So you’re convinced Cocoa is because of my looks. You would be only half right. My name comes form that warm cozy feeling you get when you hold that mug of cocoa in your hands. And from that happy spirit you have when spending time with friends and family. I am like a cup of cocoa, I am very soft, cuddly and need to be shared. I love children and all grown-ups. I even went to school and met teachers, children, and all the cafeteria ladies. I have been housebroken since I came to my foster family. I eat like a champ. I am a very quiet beagle and only bark when I want to eat! I can play, but I’m pretty gentle. I like to chew my cow hooves. Once I ate the tassels off of my foster dad’s shoes. The shoe fixing man said it happens more than you think. I go into my crate at night but I really don’t need to, my foster mom lets me stay out during the day when she is gone for less than 4-5 hours. I like to ride in the car and explore the neighborhood smells. When the day is over, I make this funny happy noise that sounds like a purr. I am a content little girl. I would love to have a forever home so I can share my life with you. Please talk to my foster mom, she would love to tell you all about me. Warmly, Cocoa
