No kids under 8, no cats, no dogs.
Ideal home: Sweet senior girl Cocoa here! I am a little over 10 years old hoping to find a home where I can just lounge and relax. The shelter is not place for us seniors, so I hope my age doesn’t deter you. I still have plenty of energy and love to give! I can be nervous and apprehensive with handling, so kids over 8 years are best. I am extremely smart, knowing SO many commands! Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?! I am much smarter than these youngsters! What’s best about us older dogs is that we are pretty much easy going, know the drill and don’t need so much work. Of course, the transition to a home from here can be a little bumpy as I get used to my new routine, but I don’t doubt I will catch on quick. I do need to be your only pet. I am not fond of cats and can only tolerate other dogs in small doses. I am an older gal and all, so set in my ways! Please consider opening your home and heart to a senior dog like me. You won’t be disappointed!
