Coco Monkey's Story
Coco Monkey is 5 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Coco Monkey came into our rescue from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. When our rescue partner went to the euthanasia room Coco Monkey was hanging on the cage like he was begging to take him, which she did. Coco Monkey is such a living little guy. He sleeps with foster mom and loves being in a home. We are not sure how many times he was in a different home, but he has three microchips in him, none of which were registered. We now have all of them registered to us, so when the adopter registers only one in their name, no matter what, we are backup. Our vet always checks for a microchip before inserting a new one to make sure there is not an existing microchip. Coco Monkey would do well in a low-key home.
