Coco's Story

Coco is ready to start looking for her permanent landing spot. All she wants, more than anything in this world, is a soft couch and a warm lap to cuddle in. She is so eager just to soak up all of the affection that she's been missing all this time.

And for the bonus? Coco knows sit AND shake! She is very pleased to show it off, so if you are ready to shake on a new family member, come and seal the deal with Coco.

Fully vetted, spayed and UTD on vaccines.

We knew we had to save her from a partnering shelter to make sure she has the second chance she so deserves.

Winnie's Warriors Animal Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Our adoption policies are designed to ensure the best possible match between our shelter dogs and their future families. Every prospective adopter completes an application that helps us understand their lifestyle, home environment, and experience with pets. This allows us to recommend dogs whose energy level, temperament, and care needs align well with the household. We encourage meet-and-greets with all household members—including other dogs—to promote a smooth transition. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and medically evaluated prior to adoption. We take time to discuss each dog’s personality, history (when known), and any special needs so adopters can make an informed decision. Adoption fees help cover veterinary care and daily shelter costs. Our goal is not simply to place dogs quickly, but to create lasting, successful adoptions that benefit both the dog and the adopter.
