Coco Bear Brussels Griffon & Shih Tzu Mix Oak Ridge, NJ

Coco Bear is a 3 year old scruffy mix surrendered locally because her owners were moving. She’s shy and scared at first but sweet and cuddly once she bonds, and gets along with other dogs. She just got spayed- she unfortunately had puppies last year mating with her brother ? ???? but we are putting an end to that inbred gene pool at last. She’s not been used to walking on leash and was using wee wee pads or going out in a fenced yard. She’s 15lbs and resembles a Brussels griffon but is actually supposed to be a Shih tzu/maltese/chihuahua mix.

Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
