Coco's Story
Meet Coco! A gentle, loving Chihuahua mix with a calm presence and a heart full of affection.

Coco arrived at ECPR on Christmas Eve alongside her four puppies after her previous owner could no longer afford her care. She’s since devoted herself to raising her babies, and now that they’ve grown, it’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved in a forever home.

Coco is a sweet and easygoing girl who truly loves people. She enjoys being close to her humans, whether that’s curled up beside you on the couch or tucked into your lap for a cozy cuddle session. She has a relaxed energy and would thrive in a calm, stable home where she can feel safe and included in daily life.

While she can be a little barky at times—especially if she hears activity outside or is ready to go out—it’s not constant and is very manageable with routine and structure. She would likely do well with respectful children and may be able to live with other dogs after slow introductions. Cats are currently unknown.

Coco is still working on potty training and will need a patient adopter willing to help her build consistency and confidence in a home environment. She may also need some gentle support with grooming routines, particularly nail trims, which she finds a bit stressful. With time, trust, and positive reinforcement, she is likely to make great progress.

She has no dietary restrictions and enjoys wet food, especially when mixed with kibble. Coco also loves soft plush toys and will happily entertain herself with a good shake-and-toss session.

Coco’s ideal home is one that offers patience, routine, and lots of love. She doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to land, a warm lap to curl into, and someone who will give her the second chance she deserves.

Coco is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
