Coco's Story

Meet Coco Bean! This sweet 16-year-old Staffy mix (approx. 50 lbs) may have a few gray hairs, but her heart is as young and full of love as ever. With her white coat accented by soft brown patches and soulful, expressive eyes, Coco is a total heart-stealer. She came all the way from Ireland with her devoted owner, who, due to serious health issues, could no longer care for her. It was a heartbreaking goodbye, and now Coco is searching for a new family to give her the love and comfort she so deeply deserves. She's up to date on all vaccinations and in great shape for her age.

Coco still enjoys the simple joys of life-chasing her ball, chewing on toys and sticks, and spending time outdoors. She thrives with daily walks or a bit of yard time, but she's just as happy snuggled up inside, soaking up back scratches and quiet companionship. She's gentle and affectionate, and while she does well with older children, we haven't seen her around younger ones, so a home with older or dog-savvy kids would be best. Coco is friendly with other dogs but prefers a slow introduction and a little time to warm up-after that, she's happy to share her space peacefully.

She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. Coco is also crate-trained, though she doesn't require one-she has great house manners and is calm when left alone. While she would love a home where someone is around often, she's also perfectly fine relaxing solo during the day-as long as she gets some quality cuddle time in the evenings!

Coco is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her owner loved her dearly but wanted her to have the care and comfort they could no longer provide. Now, Coco is ready to spend her golden years with someone who will cherish her sweet soul.

If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion who still has a spark of playfulness and endless love to give, Coco Bean is your girl.

Apply to adopt Coco Bean today!

Coco is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
