Coco's Story

Hey friends, I’m Coco! I’m a 2-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix.

I was dropped off at a high-intake shelter by my former owner with a request for euthanasia because I was itchy. Can you believe that? Thankfully, I didn't have to die because of that! My foster mom took me to the vet, got me started on allergy medicine, and now I’m feeling so much better!

These days, I’m living my best life in a wonderful foster home on a farm in Northern Colorado. I get along with dogs big and small, cats, horses, and even goats! I love going for walks, tagging along to do chores, joining my foster mom at work, and curling up under the covers.

The grandkids visit too, and they are very gentle and kind with me. Sometimes I curl up right in their laps while they watch cartoons—my kind of perfect afternoon.

I’m fully vetted, feeling great, and ready to find the forever family who will love me exactly as I am.

Fostered in Northern CO

www.mysecondhomerescue.org
