Coco's Story

Coco’s a once in a lifetime dream dog.

His humans moved, leaving him - no food, no bedding, no toys, and dangerously ill. He was also had signs of trauma inflicted on him by his previous humans.

And yet he greets people with hope, with openness, does joyful tippy-taps when excited (which is often), brings you his favorite toys when you come home. He’s so happy to go for walks that he tries to open the elevator door. His whole wiggly squat self radiates love as he prances over to lay a dirty sock or eviscerated toy at your feet. He’s now solicits pets and treats from everyone.

He loves attention and while he co-exists with another dog, he would thrive as an only pet. He’s a material boy in a material world—and resource guards chews, bones, and blankets. For this reason, probably best no toddlers or very small children. With patience and love, Coco will be a take-anywhere, once-in-a-lifetime dog. He’s a dream and an empath.

Coco is roughly 2 years old. He is not yet spayed but it is being scheduled.
