Coco's Story

Cocos story started in Stockton, where this petite pitbull mix who was found tied up by herself with only a little bit of shade in a community. Thankfully, people in the area came together to make sure she had food, water, and some care while help was being found.

We are so thankful for everyone who refused to look the other way—and especially for our amazing foster who stepped up right away to give Coco a safe place to land. Were also incredibly grateful to another rescue who helped transport Coco all the way to meet her foster family. Because of everyone who came together, Coco is finally safe.

When Coco first arrived, she was understandably scared and unsure. But once she realized she was safe, her sweet, silly, playful personality started to shine.

Coco is affectionate, smart, goofy, and eager to connect with her people. She LOVES balls and toys, zooming around the yard, and then curling up for a good nap. She has discovered that laps are pretty amazing, gives the best enthusiastic kisses, and greets her favorite people with a full-body wiggle.

Her confidence has grown so much, and shes now happily meeting new people—including recently greeting a new friend with a big, happy welcome!

Shes also learning her household manners and routines quickly. Shes working on leave it, settling when asked, and calmly sharing space with another dog. She enjoys playing with her foster sister and has shown great dog-to-dog communication. She can get excited during play, though, so shell do best with someone who can help her take breaks and keep things calm when she gets a little too carried away.

Coco does have a strong prey drive, so a home without cats or other small animals is the best fit for her.

After a life where she couldnt always count on people, Coco is learning just how wonderful it feels to be safe, loved, included, and part of a family.

Now shes ready for the next chapter.

Shes looking for someone who will give her structure, patience, playtime, affection, and a whole lot of love.

And in return?

Youll get one very devoted little brown shadow who just wants to be by your side.

COCO IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME!

Please share her story and help us find the family shes been waiting for.

Located in California San Mateo county
Pack Lyfe Rescue Inc.
