Cobalt's Story

Hi, I'm Cobalt!
I'm a super chill, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who just wants to enjoy life and soak up attention. My journey hasn't been the easiest-I was brought up from a rescue that was desperately searching for placement, and before coming to the shelter and into foster care, I lived in a kennel with my brother for months. Because of that, home life took me a few days to figure out, but once I understood the routine, I settled in quickly and showed everyone what a good boy I am. My foster has been working with me on house manners, including marking, using a belly band and positive reinforcement, and I've been making steady progress as I adjust to life in a home.

I love other dogs, people, and kids, and I'm very eager to please. I enjoy playing with my dog friends, flopping onto my back for belly rubs, and soaking up any attention you'll give me. I'm medium energy-I like having space to run and play, but I'm just as happy relaxing, being pet, and catching up on sleep. I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but it's gentle and fades quickly. I'm ready to leave my kennel days behind and finally enjoy being part of a family who will give me patience, consistency, and lots of love.
