Coal's Story

Meet Coal!
Coal came into the shelter February 9th. He was the last dog, from a hoarding case in Terlingua, that needed placement.
Coal is absolutely amazing with other dogs. He loves to play! He was in a home with kids and believe he would make a great companion for a kiddo. He loves people, he has never met a stranger.
He does fairly well on a leash, not a lot of pulling, more bouncing with excitement. He has shown to be pretty potty trained, he keeps a very clean kennel. With a good routine, this guy will be trained in no time and he loves treats, added motivation.
The staff says that their favorite characteristics are that he is ready to play at all times, he is a little bundle of joy that can do no wrong and he is an excellent listener. All around “straight A student”, happy go lucky guy 24/7.
Come meet Coal today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
