Coal's Story

Meet Coal
This sweet boy was found all alone on a backcountry road, scared, skinny, and desperately in need of someone to show him what it means to be loved. Fast forward to today, and Coal is discovering just how wonderful life can be!

At around 1 year old, Coal is a happy, friendly, energetic pup who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He has plenty of personality and is a pretty vocal boy—especially when he wants to be close to his people! He would love a home where he can be part of the family and soak up all the love and attention hes been missing.

Coal is working hard on his crate and potty training, and so far, hes doing great! Hes pretty good on leash, although he does pull a little, and hes a wonderful car rider—though he may provide a little soundtrack with his adorable whining.

He hasnt had much experience with cats, but during one brief run-in, he seemed completely uninterested. Continued training and guidance will be important as Coal grows into the best version of himself.

Coal is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on prevention medicine, and hes ready to find the forever family hes been waiting for.

After everything this little guy has been through, Coal deserves a safe place to land, a patient person to teach him, and a whole lot of love.

Could you be the one to show Coal that his lonely days are behind him?

Coals adoption is free, but a meet and greet at the potential adopters home is required so we can ensure it is a good fit for everyone!
