CoCo Chanel's Story

Everyone welcome Coco Chanel!! Coco Chanel is a female, 1-year-old, 12-pound Min Pin/Terrier mix that was rescued after being hit by a car and sustaining a badly broken leg. Her owners could not afford treatment and surrendered her to the rescue. After getting evaluated by our vet, it was determined that her leg injury was too bad/old to be corrected and ultimately, her rear hind leg was amputated. Don't let this deter you from adopting her, cause Coco is a fabulous dog who has adjusted so well without her leg. She loves to cuddle and will follow you around wherever you go. She gets along well with all other dogs. Loves all people and would make a fantastic family pet for just about any family. Coco has been fully vetted including spay, Rear leg amputation, vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. Leashes of Love Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Fill out an Adoption Application at https://www.lolr.org We will then have a brief conversation with you to determine your needs and preferences, find out about your daily schedule, and talk about your previous experience with pets. If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for. For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions. Lastly, we'll visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions. This is a great opportunity for you to get valuable input on how to integrate your new pet into your home. Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.
