Clyde - Fostered in Omaha's Story
Need someone to warm your bed at night? Need a self charging home alarm system? Have a young playful dog that could use a playmate? Need someone to eat the powdered donuts because those aren't your favorite? Clyde Boudreaux may be the dog for you!

Clyde is a 6 year old beagle who weighs 30 lbs. The perfect size for sharing your bed! Cuddled up in bed at night is when Clyde appreciates pets. When Clyde first came to rescue he was terrified of people. He wouldn't come out of his kennel, wouldn't eat, and certainly wouldn't accept affection. Now Clyde loves his nighttime snuggles and love.

During the day, if you approach Clyde, he will run. However, he will come out for his 3 favorite things: chicken, string cheese, and powdered donuts. Clyde will even do his signature dance to let you know that he's ready for some snacks!

Clyde loves to play with other dogs and adores toys (especially the squeaky ones!). He would do best in a home with another playful dog to keep him company. He likes to sleep on the couch, particularly if he can snuggle with other dogs while he snoozes. He needs a quite, patient home that will give him lots of time to get used to things and will understand that for the rest of his life, he will hide, and be afraid most of the time, except when playing with a doggie buddy that is needed in his forever home.

Clyde is house trained and, in true beagle fashion, makes a great alarm system. Alerting everyone in the house when someone has arrived.

Clyde has made enormous strides in learning to let himself be loved but he still has room for growth. You could be the family that helps him reach his full potential!

Clyde is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped.

Clyde is available for adoption and if he's a project you might be interested in, give him a chance to become the happy, secure, loved dog we know he can be. 'Life's biggest rewards come from the biggest challenges.' (Greg Behrendt) You can apply at www.bassetandbeagle.org. Clyde Boudreaux's adoption fee is $350.
