Clyde's Story
Re-introducing Clyde

Clyde is a 6 month old lab mix who came to us knowing very little about the world and feeling scared of almost all of it. When he arrived he was unsocialized and defensive, not because he was bad but because he simply did not know any better. The world felt overwhelming and he was trying to protect himself.

Through patient, loving foster care Clyde has come a long way. He has learned that other dogs can be really great friends and he now happily plays with them, even showing a submissive side with our alpha female. Once Clyde trusts you he is all in. He clings to his people with his whole heart and truly lives up to being a shadow dog. Wherever you go, Clyde wants to be right there with you.

He loves people and warms up quickly once he feels safe. He is potty trained and learning his manners more each day. Leash walking and public outings are still a work in progress, so a busy lifestyle is not what Clyde is looking for. What he dreams of is a fenced in backyard, a calm home, and plenty of quality couch time soaking up love from his people.

Clyde is gentle, loyal, and deeply devoted. He just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and give him the safe, steady life he has always deserved.

INTERESTED?

Start by completing the adoption application!
