Clyde's Story

WANTED: A partner in crime!

Looking for a sidekick? I'm your guy! But you might need to take on the mastermind role, since my plans usually only involve playtime, pool time, or nap time. But I'm a pro at all three!

I arrived from Animal Friends of the Valleys months ago with my sister, Bonnie. She found her forever home when we were both still small. I'm still waiting, but that's okay! I'm patient enough to wait for the perfect family.

Because I grew up at Haven Pet Center, I'm a little shy in new places. I've attended a couple of events and I can definitely be the type to "pancake" as they say, laying down on the floor until I feel more confident. But the trainers here said it was fantastic that when they gave me time to decompress in my kennel at the event, I fell asleep and took a big nap. Apparently that's a good way to process things? I'm not sure, but either way, it was a great nap!

I'm great with other dogs, thriving in playgroup, and might be okay with cats! I've never lived with cats, but the trainers walked me by the feral cats that live nearby. I tried to hide behind the trainer. The cats said they wanted to eat me and I believe them!

Whether it's gaining the confidence to head out on hikes or romping in the backyard with a puppy play mate, I can't wait to meet my forever family and be the best partner-in-crime a human could ask for.
