Clyde's Story

Who has the biggest heart and the most love to give? Me, that's who! I'm Clyde, and I recently lost my longtime owner, which has been hard on me, but I’ve been living in a foster home where I’m rediscovering comfort, companionship, and all the things that make me happy. My foster says I’m gentle and always ready to share love.

I show my affection in the sweetest ways. I don’t jump, I give gentle kisses, and if you stop petting me too soon, I’ll place a paw on you to ask for a little more. I’m completely potty-trained and have great house manners. I rarely beg for your food, and I do well when left alone.

My favorite things in the world are walks, car rides, toys, and lounging on the couch sharing all my love with you. I love going on walks and exploring — sniffing everything along the way is half the fun! I also enjoy car rides where I can watch the world go by. When I’m not out adventuring, I love playing with squeaky toys, chasing a ball, or curling up for a nice long nap.

Because I’ve been through a lot of changes lately, I’d do best in a home with adults or older kids where life stays peaceful and predictable. Once I feel secure, my sweet and loyal personality really shines.

I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to find my forever family to share it with. I want that to be you!

Love from Clyde
